I guess I haven’t
updated much about what is currently going on in my life.
Quick update time? I
think so.
I now live in
apartments on the south-east side of campus.
They’re really nice – much larger than my old apartment and yet they
only have 4 girls in them instead of 6.
The people who live
in this complex are really fun too. I’m
glad I get to live here until at least April, but maybe even longer depending
on what my plans are.
Here’s the thing – I
could graduate in April. That’s a
whole year early.
To do that, I would
need to take classes all through this summer.
Right now I’m in classes that will finish in the middle of June, and
then I could continue and take more that will finish in August. Then Fall semester starts and I’ll be on track
to graduate in April.
But that will be
seriously difficult.
I could burn out and
then start doing terribly in classes just ‘cause that is a whole lot of school
without a whole lot of break. So I may not take classes Summer term, which
means I would finish all of my classes next
June, and officially graduate in August.
That would still be 10 months earlier than my expected
graduation date when I entered BYU.
The only reason this
decision is so hard is because I have a “get done ASAP” attitude right now and
I have a full scholarship that is only guaranteed through next winter semester.
But Summer in Provo
is just so dang fun (weird right?) and I would love to get to experience it without homework,
and just work at my job 20+ hours a week.
Decisions, decisions.
I would tell you
about my awesome roommates and friends here.. but I feel like I need pictures
for that, and right now all I have are pictures from my roommate’s 21st
birthday party where we played drinking games with Crystal Light.
And trust me,
the pictures of everyone pretending to be drunk (as best as a bunch of LDS kids
can) are probably not the best to introduce the people I spend my time with.
So you’ll just have to wait until I actually
get a time when I can take good pictures of all those cool kids.
MUCH LOVE (:
