Sorry I haven't posted in so long!
I've been slacking on this (but because I've been working hard on school and such, I promise!)
My life isn't too exciting anyway.
Except on March 26th at the Hindu temple in Spanish Fork, Utah, they have this awesome party called the Festival of Colors to celebrate the holiday of Holi.
This one in Utah is the largest of its kind in America, and I got to be right in the middle of it.
Who knew throwing colored chalk at people could be so much fun?
The video shows pretty much anything else you need to know:
I wasn't there for the witch burning part, I heard that was weird.
But the actual color throwing is so cool.
When it happened, first everything was a hazy purple, and then it all went an almost-white pink, and I couldn't even see the people standing 2 inches from me.
This might be TMI, but my boogers were purple for about a week. So awkward.
Definitely one of the most fun things I've done while at BYU so far.
And this past weekend, I watched General Conference, and even got to go to the Sunday morning session and hear the Prophet speak in person! So unbelievable.
This was my view:
If you haven't watched it, go here and watch it, listen to it, or download it and put it on your ipod, ipad, zune, whatever.
Be like nike and just do it.
It'll make ya feel good I promise.
